This notice explains how we handle the personal information you give us through our quote form, email and WhatsApp.

Who we are

What we collect

Your name, phone number, postcode and optionally your email address; a description of what needs clearing, the load size and any photos you send; and whether you're happy to be contacted on WhatsApp.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

To quote for and arrange your clearance. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). To contact you on WhatsApp, only if you tick the box: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time. We share the job details needed to carry out your clearance with the team doing the work. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell them.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for [12 months, TO CONFIRM] after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep records as needed for the job, waste transfer records and legal and accounting purposes.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run this website and deliver your enquiry: Cloudflare (hosting and form processing), Resend (sends form messages to our inbox) and Google Workspace (email). They act on our instructions. Some may process data outside the UK with appropriate safeguards. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own terms apply.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies or use tracking or analytics.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, ask for portability and withdraw consent. Email hello@simpletask.org.uk.
